World Book Day in Class 4 7.3.19
admin on: Class 4
In Class 4 yesterday, I was blown away by all the amazing costumes. From Harry Potters to Willy Wonkas, our class became very colourful!
For World Book Day, we created verbal stories based on wonderfully strange hybrid creatures we created, using the book the Shark-Headed Bear Thing as inspiration. Getting into the spirit of the day, I transformed myself into the Shark-Headed Bear Thing (much to the confusion of children in other classes who hadn't heard of the book!). We then presented the stories back to the rest of the class.
Here are some pictures of World Book Day in Class 4.

Happy Half Term 15.2.19
admin on: Class 4
Another half term holiday is upon us! We are now halfway through Year 4. I honestly don't know where the time goes.
Things to look forward to next half term are: World Book Day on the 7th March, our trip to Murton Park on the 1st April and family sharing on the 21st March.
The homework for this half term is as follows:
1.) IXL Maths CC7, CC9 and CC13 on decimals.
2.) IXL English N11 and N12 on homophones.
3.) I have sent home an arithmetic paper that the children did on Monday. They marked it themselves. If you could go through any answers they answered incorrectly, that would be great.
4.) The spellings are admission, confession, depression, discussion, expression, impression, permission, possession.
Have a fantastic break, and thank you as always for your support. It was lovely to see you all at parents' evening!
