Scottish dancing for 'Burns Night'
New homework books home tonight.
Please only complete session one.
We are happy for you to mark the books and we will check your comments on Wednesday to see how they have done.
Please just tick and put a smiley face on if your child had no worries or comment and a sad face on what your child found tricky.
Most children need help with their number formation.
Thank-you and have fun.

23rd January 2019
Key Stage One were luckily enough to have a visit from the author, Sarah Morrell (Oscar and Zachary's mum). She came and read her published book, The King and the Cockerel, to the children. She used props made by her mother and acted out the different characters, to bring the story to life. Her enthusiasm engaged all the children. If you would like more information about her book, a link to her website is here: www.sarahmorrellauthor.co.uk

Thank-you to all those parents who attended the short phonics workshop today.
I hope you all found this useful and I was really happy with the turn out.
For those unable to attend I have some spare notes about the meeting which I will put into your child's book bag for you to have a read through.
I am happy to discuss anything abut our phonics/literacy that you may not understand or doesn't make sense.
Thanks again for you time.
