Transition dates for Holmfirth High school.

The Induction day for Holmfirth High will be on Tuesday 30th June. This will be for HHS pupils only and more information will come out before then on the requirements for the day.
The Year 6 transition evening will be on 8th July.
We have had no notifications, as yet, as to transition/induction days at other schools.

For Mathletics tasks, I have started to put review tests on there. If your child has any concerns, they should let us know, so that we can look at this with them.
Another option, that I have mentioned to people, is the Achieve revision books, which are all available on Amazon.

Balanced arguments

This week, in English, we will be writing a balanced argument.
The topic will be building houses in the countryside; something which we all have a point of view on.
If you get chance to discuss this with your child, this would be great - as I'd like lots of arguments, from which they can draw for their work.
