This week has been anti-bullying week. We have been looking at what we should do to help someone who is being hurt verbally or physically. We thought of the different people who we can trust to tell if we are worried and thought about how we can 'use our power for good' to help everyone is school. We used the 'High 5!' method to give us strategies on how to deal with situations.

12th November 2018
In geography, we have started looking at different types of maps and how we can use these to create a route to follow. We looked at an atlas to locate the key, which then told us the meanings of the different symbols. We also looked at the points of a compass and made our very own using paper and split pins!
Commemorating Armistice Day
admin on: Class 2
6th November 2018
Today, children in Key Stage 1 performed We'll Meet Again by Vera Lynn in front of the school, which they have been learning in connection with the centenary of the end of World War 1. We have also been making poppies out of used plastic bottles, with pva glue and paint, to create beautiful symbols of this event. During the afternoon, we attached these to the school gate singing our song again. These have been placed at the front of school for all to admire and remember those who had shown bravery throughout the world.
