The delicious pirate picnic
admin on: Class 2
Today we had our superb pirate picnic, linked with our science topic learning about the benefits of eating a balanced diet. First we washed our hands so our hands were clean and we were being hygienic. Next, we prepared the food which consisted of:
Black-Beard Pizza-licious Vegetable Pizza
Deadly Mixed-Leaf Salad
Scurvy Sandwiches
Ferocious Fruit Salad
Surprise cupcakes (Mashed potato cupcakes)
Miss Hemingway laid blankets and cushions on the floor so we could sit and eat our scrumptious meal. We were even aloud to take our shoes off! The food was 'scarily' yummy!!!!

Voting for House Names
admin on: Class 2
Today we voted for the change of house names. We each went outside the classroom and privately voted for the person we would like to represent our house colours. We also discuss the importance of our British values with everyone having the right to their own view point and opinion. Stay tuned to find out who were chosen ...
Beautiful Butterflies First Steps ...
admin on: Class 2
We released our butterflies today into our nature woodland area. They were scared at first, but then they finally flew outside their net. As they fluttered off, we felt happy but also sad for the little creatures as we are going to miss them very much. We wish them bon voyage and good luck in their next steps in their life!

Tie Dye T-shirts!
admin on: Class 2
We had an amazing time this morning in Year 2! We began the process of making our tie dye t-shirts. We used loom bands to tie them up and then LOTS of bright dyes to colour them. We can't wait to see what they look like when they are dry and we can take the bands off.
