Just to let you know that our caterpillars have hung in a "j" shape on the lid of the jar, moulted one last time, and have hardened into chrysalides. Stay tuned to see what happens next .....
Mini Olympics

Today we took part in a Mini Olympics event at Holmfirth High School with the year 2 classes from Kirkroyds Infant School. We did a variety of events including javelin, long jump, shot putt and many more. We all enjoyed making new friends and taking part in the different sports!
African Art Gallery

Look at our amazing art work we did with Miss Watkins! We used watercolours to create a sunset-themed wash then chose some African animals and painted sillouettes of them using black acrylic paint! Don't they look georgous!
Cute caterpillars arrive!

In year two, we have now got 5 new caterpillars. Their names are: Bobby, Manilla, Indie, Coco and Isla. When they transform, they will turn into beautiful, bright butterflies. We will then release them into the wild where they will hopefully fly off and have a beautiful new life! Stay tuned to see their progress ...

Soccer Aid Playground Challenge

Today, children paired up with their buddies and took part in the Soccer Aid Playground Challenge for Unicef. Despite the weather, all children thoroughly enjoyed playing their own-made ball games with each other!
