Day 3
admin on: Class 6
We have woken up to torrential rain this morning. But, after a large, hearty breakfast, we are embarking on Nightlines, Zipwires and escaping from dungeons.
All being well, we will escape safely and be back at school with lots of washing and ready for a good night's sleep by 3pm ish.

11th October 2019
Today, we had a visit from Paul who gives the school technical support with all aspects of ICT. He talked to the children about the network system we have in school, giving them a guided tour and answered some very in depth and interesting questions. We would like to thank him for taking the time to come and speak with us.

World Mental Health Day - Thursday 10th
admin on: Class 6
7th October 2019
It is World Mental Health Day this Thursday and we are going to be raising money for Young Minds, a charity which supports young people with their mental health. It is a key focusing point on the School Governments agenda to promote the health and well-being for children in school. The Minister of Health and Well-being, the Chancellor of the Exchequer and Miss Hemingway will be selling yellow ribbon badges for 20p on Wednesday and Thursday break times. We ask the children to then wear them on Thursday to show their support. All proceeds will be donated to Young Minds. Here is a link to the Young Minds website: https://youngminds.org.uk/
Look out for staff wearing yellow on #HelloYellow Thursday!

Art inspired by conflict
admin on: Class 6
4th October 2019
In art, we are looking at pieces of art which have been inspired by conflict. Each week we are going to be looking at different artists, some of which were commissioned to create pieces of artwork while experiencing the front line. We are going to then create our very own artwork inspired by conflict that we have learnt about.
