Monday updates

Posted: May 11, 2020 by: Liam Kershaw (LKershaw) on: Class 5

Afternoon, everyone! I hope you enjoyed your long weekend. I sat out in my (very small) garden on Saturday - it was lovely! Here are some updates from the last few days.

Here is Toby's national dish that he said he would make. It is called spagpeacon. It looks yummy! I have also attached his awesome newspaper report.

Isla did some colouring with her brother on V.E. Day. Lovely!

Madison put up some bunting for her V.E. Day celebrations and also shared this lovely image and article about her great grandfather who returned home from the war after four years as a prisoner of war. Wow! Thank for you sharing this!

It was Fred's 10th birthday on Friday. Happy birthday, Fred! Welcome to the double digits! Glad Dave the sloth makes an appearance even on your birthday cards!

Alex has shared his very professional-looking newspaper. Perhaps a career in journalism is on the cards?

Ethan also shared his amazing newspaper article. Lots of examples of direct and indirect speech in this piece! Well done!

Owen borrowed a dog this weekend and got to go on a dog walk. Great idea! Owen also enjoyed the work on natural resources today, and he has done so much work that he finished his home school book! He has a new one and has made a front cover for it. Well done, Owen!

Max and Esme have celebrated V.E. day with a BBQ, a quiz, some tree-climbing and a paddling pool. A great way to celebrate!
