Week ending 7.6.24

What a fantastic week we have had back at school.
We have begun our new topics this week.
In Literacy, we are reading the book - The Inventions of Higo Cabret. It is a wonderful tale of a young boy in Paris in 1931. We will be doing some wonderful art work and descriptive writing based around the book.
In Maths, we are going to be revisiting lots of topics that we have covered over the year. This week we have been looking at 2D shape, identifying acute, obtuse and right angles in irregular 2D shapes.
In Science, we have begun started an investigation to create crystals. Fingers crossed they will have begun growing by Monday. Watch this space.
Our DT work links well with our previous Art topic. We will be creating beautiful embroideries. I can't wait to see what you produce.
We also learn all about the amazing efforts of the soldiers and all people involved in the D-Day landings. What an incredible emotion Newsround. Class 3 you were very respectful and listened, asking wonderful questions.
