Well done this week.  We have nearly finished reading our wonderful classic - The Enchanted Wood.  I can't wait to find out what we will be reading next.  We always have a democratic vote for our class read, so watch this space!

In Literacy, we have been learning about poetry.  We have learnt two poem by hear, used our best handwriting to copy and illustrate them.  Amazing class 3.  Here are the 2 poems:

In Maths we have moved onto fractions.  Your little faces looked so worried on Monday morning, but by lunchtime you were loving our fractions work!  Well done.

What Causes a Volcano to Erupt? | Britannica

Our Natural Disasters topic in Geography has begun with our work on volcanoes.  You created some diagrams of how the inside of a volcano looks.  These were clear and well labelled.

Who is Pudsey Bear? BBC Children in Need - Twinkl

Friday brought lots of spots to Netherthong!  We had spotty faces, spotty t-shirts, spotty tights, spotty ears!  You name it we had spots.  We also held a bun sale.  Well done for raising lots of ,money for Children in Need.

Have a wonderful weekend.  Keep safe and see you on Monday.
