Week ending 11.10.24

This rather large character has appeared in Class 3 this week. The children have been really intrigued by him. Those children that already know about him have been great and have not give any plot lines away! The work that the children have produced so far, has been of a super quality and I can't wait to see what else we will get up to with it.
In Maths we have been learning our 3 times tables. We have played games, written sums and worked on the computers. We will keep working on these and going back over our 2, 5 and 10's. Keep having a go at home too!
We got a little bit colourful in Art. We have been learning about colour theory. We have recapped Primary and Secondary colour and learn about Tertiary colours. We also learnt a little about harmonious and complimentary colours and how artists used colours in their work. Hilma af Klint, (The Swan, no.17) used colour theory in her art work.
