25th April

Welcome back from the Easter  holidays.

We have had a lovely start to this short half term with a story called Bog Baby by Jeanne Willis.

It explores themes of empathy and caring the creatures in our environment and introduces the children to the concept of habitats.

In math's we have been working on combining small sets numbers of fruit and writing a number sentence.

1+2=3

1+3=4

1+4=5

This was the first step for many. Have a go at home.

Art work we have been printing and adding features to the habitat of the Bog Baby.

In the woods we have been looking for mini beasts. You can do this at home and also try to identify the flowers around school as I don't know the names of some of these beautiful flowers.

Here are a few highlights.

Adding groups together

Trying healthy foods.

Looking for mini beats

Thank you for your support at home.

Mrs Oddy and the team.
