Tiger-tastic week!

What a busy week we have had in Year 1!
During art, we learnt about how to sketch a drawing of an object. We carefully looked at a flower and then sketched this in our art books. We made sure we adding in detials that were on the stem, leaves and petals.We are going to be doing the same at the beginning of each art topic to see how far we have developed our artistic skills. We have started looking at The Tiger Who Came To Tea by Judith Kerr, which most of our literacy work is going to be based on for the next few weeks. We made ourselves familiar with the story by drawing and describing our favourite character and retelling the story through acting.
We've also been looking at the school behaviour system this week and reminding the children why it's 'good to be green'.
