In science this week, the children have been learning about voltage in circuits and investigating what happens to bulbs when more batteries and bulbs are added. Here are some photos:
Geography in Class 6

Here are some photos of some of the geography we have been up to in the last couple of weeks. The children recreated how fold mountains are formed by plate tectonics using large pieces of card. Then, later in the geography topic, the children went out on a 'field trip'... to the school field! They sketched the landscape they could see and then labelled it with physical features of geography.
World Book Day

Class 6 were invited to the World Book Day tea party to read our guided reading book, 'Wonder'. They ate some lovely cakes that were brought in by the children and had juice and hot chocolate. It was a great morning and the children seemed to enjoy doing guided reading this way! Shame we can't do it this way every session! Here are some photographs:
