Wednesday 1st April

White rabbits, white rabbits, white rabbits!
Here's the completed Whitby jigsaw.
I'd love to think of an April Fool's trick to play on you all, but I'm not sure how it would work remotely, via a blog? I hope you are all playing them on each other.
Did you know, in France, they have a poisson d'avril instead? The aim is to cut out a paper fish and try and stick it on someone else's back without them knowing. Interesting... Might see how many I can get here today...
Talking of French - Rosetta Stone (the language learning scheme) have a 'free for kids' offer on at the moment: https://www.rosettastone.co.uk/lp/freeforkids/ Check it out, if you haven't already started using Duolingo. Rio keeps emailing me in Italian, which is pretty cool. Today is my 212th day in succession - have a go! You will love it. And if you don't believe me, ask Rio, or Rogan.
I hope you are all helping round the house? I began painting round the garage doors yesterday; it's a big job, so hopefully the rain will stay away for a few days. I know a few of you are baking/cooking. Keep sending me photos of your masterpieces; not just the work I'm setting.
Talking of the work, THANK YOU SO MUCH to all of you who sent me art work in from yesterday - I've got quite a few amazing pieces to show you at the end of today's blog... So andiamo, cominciamo (let's go, let's start).
PE: Stick with the Joe Wicks - he has certainly captured the nation's attention. Even George Ezra's mum does it! If you want to continue with the press-ups/sit-ups, it won't do you any harm. Try 9 today.
Reading: I know that Tom has finished Animal Farm (before me!), so hopefully he's onto his next tome. 30 minutes please everyone - at least!
Writing: Today I would like to you write a letter to yourself, which I want you to give to a parent to keep for one year. Write to yourself in one year. Explain how you feel and what you will do differently in the future, once this is all over. What will you change about yourself? When you have done, fold it in half, write 1st April, 2021 on the front and tell someone to hide it.
Maths: Fractions and Decimals - Review 2. For those of you who WANT to, try the Challenge section, which is directly before it. This is NOT compulsory - it is a higher level and will be... a challenge (the clue is in the name).
Reading Comprehension: Tudor Wedding, from the Schofield and Sims booklet (answers tomorrow).
GPS: You have reached the end - Revision 3. Congratulations!
The only other thing I would like you to do, is some language practice, whether it be French, Italian, Japanese, or Klingon. Enjoy!
Here is the challenge from Miss H today! Remember to email us your creations! If you don't have Lego, don't worry any construction material will do …
Ok - here, as promised, are the photos. Thanks everyone, I'm loving seeing what you are doing - keep it up!
Take care - I miss you all.

Thank you to Gretel! You really have used your imagination with the rollercoaster with sudden death drop into a lava pit of skeletons and the rocket! Can't wait to see what people send me tomorrow with the challenge …
