Happy Red Nose Day!
Some jokes from Class 6 to start this week's blog:
For the person who created the number zero - thanks for nothing!
Why did the hedgehog cross the road? To see his flat mate...
Knock knock? Who's there? WOO. WOO who? Why are you cheering!!!
On Wednesday we met our new teacher, Mrs Hunnisett, who will be teaching the children every Wednesday, and it was fabulous to see the children being so kind and welcoming.
In Science this week, we have been learning about fossils, and it was wonderful to see the fossils and minerals that Thomas and Eben brought into school to share with the class:
Some of the other highlights from the week include reading the children's beautiful, expressive writing, based on the short novel 'Clockwork' by Philip Pullman and going on the field for orienteering. In computing, we were learning to create a spreadsheet and add data:
Well done to all the class for working hard this week and welcoming their new teachers!
