Morning all,
Time sure is flying, isn't it? Wow!
I'm going back into school this morning and I'm pretty excited about it. If you are on your family walk today, please do knock on the office window, as I might just be able to come outside and say hello. I saw Oli yesterday, outside doing some gardening with his mum and I spoke to Jack on the phone - it really made my day! I am really missing all of you so much!
Why shouldn't you trust atoms? Because they make up everything!
Some AMAZING flags to show you this morning - just incredible - really well done!

Aren't they amazing? Lots of thought (and fun) went into those - thank you parents/grandparents/brothers and sisters for helping out.
Comprehension: 1) It is a fact based autobiography 2) Charlie and the Chocolate Factory 3) So that the tastes would be influenced by taste alone; at that stage of the development, a name would serve no purpose 4a) Cadbury's Coffee Cream bar 4b) as a 'benchmark'; as a known quantity, for comparison purposes 5) took part enthusiastically 6a) the were old enough to have a wide experience of eating chocolate; they knew every existing bar intimately 6b) 'connoisseurs' 7) not distinctive enough in flavour to be widely popular 8) 'irresistible'.
Ukulele : Mrs Greenwell has spent quite a bit of time putting together some video lessons for those of you who are in the club. Please go to: https://www.netherthongprimary.co.uk/curriculum-1/curriculum-pages/musc
Reading: Don't forget the 30 minutes, everyone AT LEAST!
Chess: I hope you are all still enjoying this? I am at level Bishop3 on the training and am really enjoying the videos. I would love to play against one of you and am investigating this.
English/Topic: I would like you to investigate someone famous from the country you are doing your topic on. This could be a politician, a revolutionary, a singer, a sportsman, ANYONE who is famous in that country. Then I would like you to write a report about them - this will be non-chronological and will include some fascinating facts, as well as some things that we would all NEED to know about them. Include some photos please and I'll show the best ones I get.
Some of your mysterious stories about a family member were brilliant! Here are a few:
Darcey
Georgie
Jack
Oli
Now, at this point, I seem to be having some technical glitches and things keep crashing, so I'm going to wrap up the blog, without adding any more photos; don't worry - there will be more later (hopefully!).
Maths: Checking Calculations - VERY IMPORTANT skills to have. Read the explanation carefully.
Speed Tables today everyone - here they are:
Stay safe and, hopefully, I'll be back to you later. Just remember that 5/4 of people think they are poor at fractions!

I love the flags! Also, Darcey's story about her brother is hilarious! Made me chuckle. Well done, Darce! Mr. K |
