Good morning all!

It feels early this morning, now the clocks have changed... I hope you all had a good weekend and you aren't getting cabin fever. We had a couple of walks, played some games, watched some movies and read some of our family book for our book club. Remember, Read in Holmfirth are doing deliveries now, if you need a new book.

I have some photos to share with you at the end of this email, so... keep reading.

Plan for today:

Reading - as normal, 30 minutes, or more please.

Writing - back to the diary. Please write about your weekend; the fun, the frustration, everything. Did you go on a walk? Where to? Have you discovered anything new in the past week? Any new skills?

Maths - Rounding up or down. Make sure you read the examples at the top first, in order that you can understand this fully.

PE - I hope you are all doing the Joe Wicks workout by now? Apparently, all the money he is making through advertising is going to the NHS. Fantastic! If you miss this at 9am, you can go on his Youtube channel. We finished last week on 8x press-ups and sit-ups. Have another go at 8 today, before we move up tomorrow.

Topic - South America. List the countries and their capital cities. There are only two countries in South America that are land-locked (ie, there is no coastline at all); name them?

GPS - Standard English: confusing words (page 40).

Here is the challenge from Miss H for today! Remember to email us your creations! If you don't have Lego, don't worry any construction material will do ...

Now, as promised, here are some photos to start your week:

Gretel's landscape; superb!
