Examples of writing
All children's writing is different and sometimes it can be tricky to know what your child's written content should include depending on which year group they are in. Please have a look at the below examples so that you can see what the writing from an average child in Year 2 and Year 6 could look like. These written examples have been taken from training materials supplied by the Standards Teaching Agency and offer a guideline for year group writing expectations.
